Riding at Maybury State Park

Maybury is a unique park as it is the only state park with horse trails in Wayne County, providing close access to trails for Southeast Michigan.

AT THE ANNUAL MEETING IN DECEMBER 2025, it was decided and voted on that the Maybury Trail Rider's Association (MTRA)  will be DISSOLVED.  A committee within the Michigan Horse Trails Association (MHTA) was created and support for Maybury will be through the MHTA.  A new Facebook Group will be created and this website will be cancelled.  The remaining funds held by MTRA will be transferred to the MHTA where they will be set aside to be spent on efforts at Maybury State Park.
